Description

During this lesson, your students will learn essential vocabulary terms for Geometry including point, line, plane, segment, ray, collinear, coplanar, and opposite rays. They will also learn how to name geometric figures and how to determine whether figures are collinear or coplanar.

This lesson is great for virtual distance learning! Your students can watch a video of me teaching the guided notes! This lesson comes with 2 versions of the guided notes - 1 version with QR codes and another version without the codes. The QR codes link your students to a video of me teaching the guided notes. This resource includes:

  • Warm Up (1 page) - Students solve a multi-step equation.
  • Guided Notes (2 pages) - Includes a vocabulary section and multiple examples of naming geometric figures and recognizing relationships among figures.
  • Guided Notes with QR Codes (2 pages) - Version 2 of the guided notes contains QR codes linking students to a video of me teaching the guided notes.
  • Classwork (1 page) - 11 exercises
  • Homework (1 page) - 16 exercises
