Let’s hop on the Pokemon train and use that momentum to energize addition fact memory.Our goal is to encourage students to practice the addition facts by seeing, touching, and writing

the facts. We hope to keep the students motivated and engaged as they complete each puzzle level in anticipation of acquiring a pokemon prize. Students “check in” with the teacher and show

their proof of completion before any prizes are awarded. The anticipated final result is that the students will have memorized the facts and have attained automaticity. (facts +0 to +9)

I recommend using these pages as center activities, but if you’d like to, they could also be printed out and used as cut and paste worksheets.
