Description

There are 200 task cards included! These task cards are great for independent practice, sub plans, small group interventions, and centers!

The task cards include the following topics:

  • Addition and Subtraction Word Problems
  • Multiplication & Division Word Problems
  • Multistep Word Problems (including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division)
  • Geometry Math Problems (largely focusing on quadrilaterals)
  • Area & Perimeter Problems (Finding area or perimeter given dimensions, finding the value of missing sides given a dimension & the area or perimeter, area & perimeter word problems)

These task cards are meant for 3rd-4th grade students. These problems are challenging and require students to carefully read word problems. This set is great for EOG test prep! Each card included 4 answer options (and include trick answers- so students must careful consider the word problem and determine what math operation they will need to use to solve it). This set included a student answer sheet (2 on 1 page) and an answer key for easy grading!

You can cut and laminate cards for long term use. This can be used for small group intervention or whole group activity! I like to make it extra fun by playing an escape room timer for an hour and dimming lights, and spread the task cards around the room (some hidden) so it can be a makeshift escape room- students escape by competing all cards.
