Description
These Polar Graphs Task Card, Matching Activity with Graphic Organizer Summary will give your Trig, AP PreCalculus, PreCalculus students the practice they need to succeed and are designed to build your students' skills and proficiency and retention on this topic.
These activities will reinforce concepts taught in class and will solidify their understanding of Polar Graphs. My students like to explore the subtle differences of the graphs of limacons and cardioids and what makes them loop and change.
Included:
- 24 Task / Station Cards on limacons, lemniscates, polar roses, straight lines in polar form, symmetry with respect to the polar axis, symmetry with respect to the pole. Students match one of four graphs to the Polar function.
Included ate 2 sets of cards, one with with QR, and the other set without. The cards are both number coded and color coded by similar topics. This gives you flexibility to use them for individuals, groups, or as station cards. - Polar Curves Graphic Organizer in two sizes, one a full page, and the other half size for notebooks.
- Student recording sheet
- Additional Assignment with 7 similar problems. There are two versions, one multiple choice and the other, free response. These can be used in class or as Homework, Assessment, or Enrichment.
- All Answer keys
