Description

“The power is yours, stop pollution! I am Captain Planet!” (90s Television)
The only way to help protect out planet is to teach others how to protect it. In this unit, it includes an interactive 25 paged student book with a close reading passage with an assessment, and vocabulary with an assessment to teach the students what pollution is, how to conserve our resources, and how to recycle. The students will get to participate in three interactive labs on air pollution, water pollution (STEM LAB), and a compost lab to help them understand how to pollution impacts our world as well as teaching them how they can make an impact on our planet. A hook activity to get your students interested in learning about pollution, art project for students to complete using recyclable materials, 2 ladders to hang in your classroom on types of pollution and how to put a stop to pollution, academic word wall cards for your word walls, and labels to get your students recycling in you classroom.
