I love having a Math journal for students to use as an available resource. I use notes like these to help students follow along during the lesson. We glue the notes on the left side of the journal and practice problems on the right side of the journal. This strategy teaches students comprehension of vocabulary and also self-teaching. Also, notes like these really come in handy when it is review time!
