  • On the first page your students are introduced to End Behavior based upon the leading term's power and sign. They can also analyze the graphs of the four polynomials. The rules are organized and include both a visual description with arrows and an algebraic depiction. Limits are not included. There are two versions of this page, one completed notes and the other for your students to complete.

  • The second page of this fun activity on Polynomial End Behavior is a visual activity that your students will enjoy. There are 9 stick figures and you students use the arms to represent a polynomial functions determining whether the degree of the polynomial is Odd or Even, whether the leading coefficient is Positive or Negative, and whether f(x) approaches +∞ or - ∞ .
