Description

In this mini-project activity, students will practice their polynomial operations skills of adding and multiplying polynomials. The mini-project review activity is presented as trying to find the area of a house floor plan where the lengths and widths of rooms are polynomials.

To do this project students should know how to:

  • Write a polynomial in standard form
  • Add polynomials by combining like terms
  • Multiply polynomials
  • Problem solving using the skills above

This activity is great as a review of these skills, practice before a quiz, or part of a sub plan if you are going to be out a period.
