This is a PowerPoint Activity used to teach the basics of Polynomials: Standard Form, Classifying and finding the Degree. The PowerPoint presentation contains 30 slides and covers these topics with explanation and plenty of examples (please see the preview).
The activity part makes the learning interactive. Also included in the file are flash cards containing the words "monomial, binomial, trinomial, polynomial, linear, quadratic and degree 3 or cubic" (please see the preview). As the students participate with the classification or finding the degree of each example in the PowerPoint, they use the flash cards to show the teacher what their answer is by holding up the correct one(s).
Directions and teacher notes included in the notes section of the PowerPoint. The PowerPoint does not have any animations and is not editable.
