To initiate the instruction of multiplication facts effectively, it's beneficial to introduce visual aids that support counting strategies for solving basic multiplication facts. Utilizing visual multiplication worksheets featuring arrays of bubbles, reminiscent of a pop-it toy, enables students to count rows, columns, and totals. This approach helps in establishing foundational concepts of multiplication and how it operates.

This listing includes:

Three 10-pages ready-to-print PDF files with a total of 10 different worksheets to practice multiplication facts in 10x10 arrays, and associated answer key sheets. Each worksheet provides 4 different problems and directions:

  • Pages 1-10 - Worksheets 1-10: For each picture, write the multiplication problem shown / For each picture: color bubbles across (rows), then down (columns), count, then write the multiplication problem shown / For each picture: color bubbles across (rows) then down (columns) if needed, fill in the blanks
  • Pages 11-20 - Worksheets 1-10 in Black & White
  • Pages 21-30 - Answer Key for Worksheets 1-10
