Description

Need a core board on the go? Here are two options.

The first is a double sided portable core board that can be attached to a teacher lanyard for easy access. Available in Boardmaker and SymbolStix.

Just print, trim, fold in half, laminate, hole punch, and attach to a lanyard.

The second option is an idea I saw on the Facebook group "AAC for the SLP". The core board uses a quarterback playbook armband for 3 pages of core words. These pages are designed for the adult sized armband. Currently available in Boardmaker and will update when SymbolStix is completed.

Boardmaker and SymbolStix used with permission.

I wish it had an elementary version because we don't have lockers, but I just put a velcro dot over that spot and rotate out different word to help me remember to target certain core or weekly word!

I love this mobile core board! It is big enough to actually see the images but still small enough to not weigh down my lanyard.

I use this every single day in our early childhood special education classrooms, k-2 special education classrooms, and in my speech and language therapy room. I have all of our special education teachers and paraprofessionals wear one of these core boards on their lanyards for easy access and quick support for many of our language delayed kiddos! This is a wonderful resource!

This item was a good fit for my students. My only concern is that I wish there were more images or if it was editable to where I could add more images that we are currently focusing on. Overall I love the idea of having a portable communication board. This benefits my students a lot during social activities.
