Majority of the time, a child is engaging in a less desired behavior in order to try to communicate something to us.
This document is a user friendly, detailed checklist to help determine the reason why a certain behavior is occurring. Once the function is determined, simply refer to the "Now what?" section for ideas on how to help decrease the more disruptive behavior and promote a better way for the student to express their needs!
