Positive & Negative Squares (Math)
Share

Description

Adding and subtracting positive and negative integers can be a difficult concept to grasp at first. I love using my Positive and Negative Squares with my learning support students. They are able to actually see how the problem is solved by manipulating their positive and negative squares to match the number sentence they are working on.

My students loved this resource! I used this tool as part of my formal observation this school year. My students really enjoyed the large positive and negative squares. I did laminate them for durability.
