This PowerPoint crossword download is for PowerPoint 2013. The download comes with two crossword options.

Option 1: PowerPoint Crossword in a self- grading Excel file. Students need a computer and need access to Excel and PowerPoint. There is a grading button in the spreadsheet. Click the button and the crossword is graded! Students can check their work as they go. To enable the grading program, open the file and a message box will appear at the top of the Excel screen asking you if want to Enable Content. Click “Enable Content” and then choose “Yes”. Now the grading key will work.

NOTE: The grading program works with a PC, but has not been tested on a Mac. The code for the grading program expires in July of 2016.

Option 2: PowerPoint Crossword Printable. Print and copy this sheet for students to complete with a pencil. Students will need access to PowerPoint to answer some of the questions.

There is a WORD BANK that comes with the download. However, depending on the skill level of your students, you may choose to not give students the word bank to make it more challenging.
