Description

This is, simply put, a long PowerPoint with word problems in which students must calculate Speed, Distance, and Time interchangeably.

60 total word problems... The word problem comes first, click, the formula necessary comes second, click, and last is the numbers plugged into that formula along with the answer.

This is good for drill and practice, introduction, or review. I have my students use their mini white-boards and dry erase markers to identify the two knowns and the unknown and then figure out which formula they need to solve by using their Speed Triangle Foldable. After they find the correct formula, they solve the problem.

I'll probably add more slides soon... probably with more challenging speed problems that involve multiple steps.

I had a lower level student in my Physics class that was struggling and this was a great extra practice that he could work through and gain confidence to be successful. Thanks!
