Description

I created this series of assignments while teaching Math 3 Support in Georgia. This course was designed to review Math 1 and Math 2 topics that would be tested on the GHSGT. I generated graphs of parabolas, cubic functions, square root functions, absolute value functions, and asked questions about each graph. While learning about these graphs students are expected to graph the functions but since I was preparing them for a standardized test I only asked them questions from graphs. The questions include determining domain and range, identifying x- and y- intercepts, finding intervals where a function is increasing and decreasing, identifying maximum and minimum value, end behavior or a graph. There are several true false questions as well. These questions use the terminology that was emphasized in GPS math. There are four assignments, a test review and a test included. The answers are NOT included. Now that Georgia has moved on to CCGPS these assignments would probably get used in a CCGPS Advanced Algebra course to prepare for standardized testing.
