This is a lesson teachers can use either in class or on their website, based on the Common Core Standards for 7th Grade Mathematics.

This lesson teaches and guides students (as well as teachers) through the process to explore the different kinds of numbers and how rational numbers differ from integers. You will compare the kinds of numbers like different kinds of boats and learn how to convert a number from a fraction to decimal, and vice versa.

It is a visually engaging and captivating lesson that will grab your students. They include beautiful pictures, and relevant sample problems that will help your students develop mastery of this standard.
