I wanted to create this differentiated curriculum because I have such a range of abilities in my Pre-Algebra class every year. It is exhausting and discouraging to try to force students to complete tasks they are incapable of completing all while the more advanced students sit there bored and become disruptive. These lessons are designed to cover basically the same material.

Version A is the most basic. There may be notes and guides depending on the lesson. There are less negatives and very few if any fractions. Types of questions are chunked for repetition.

Version B will include a few more challenging questions. This is aimed at the average student.

Version C has slightly more to it. There may be fractions and some questions may go a little farther than the examples show. This is meant to challenge the student who is bored with the average assignments.
