Description

These are things I developed over the years for use in my own PreCalculus classes.

This file contains 36 pages of notes, problem sets, and activities for individual students and for groups. The topics include Linear, Quadratic, Exponential, and Sinusoidal Functions. There are also mathematical themes such as calculator use, mathematical modeling, equation solving, and literacy.

There are 14 individual and group activities, 8 problems sets of various length and complexity, and some pages of notes.

They are arranged in order from Algebra topics, through right triangle trigonometry, trig functions and equations, and finishing with some activities about vectors and polar and parametric equations.

I really like this and my Advanced Math class liked the real world problems. I just wish there was an answer key (to check my answers before I corrected the students)! :)
