Description

This product is designed for Precalculus students (or Advanced Algebra II or remediation for Calculus students) studying general rational functions. It includes 10 general rational functions where the student must factor and simplify the rational function. Then identify the horizontal asymptote, vertical asymptotes, slant asymptote, holes, x-intercepts, y-intercepts, domain, range, relative minima (by calculator), relative maxima (by calculator), intervals of increasing, intervals of decreasing, and end behavior on the left hand side and right hand side. They must also graph the function.

I have also created a blank template where the teacher or student may create their own rational function to analyze in the same manner. This is a Word document and PDF with the answer key included. This can be used as classwork, homework or as an assessment.
