Description

Learners use information from graphics, texts and personal experiences to anticipate what will be read/viewed /heard and to actively adjust comprehension while reading/viewing/listening. Predictions are the connecting links between prior knowledge and new information. Prior knowledge is the unique set of knowledge that each student brings to the text reading and is affected by the student's attitudes, experiences and knowledge; knowledge of the reading process, text types and language features, vocabulary, topic and concepts.
