Included:
Sight Words
Sight Word Books: There are 48 short books and students can color the picture on each page. I also have students highlight the sight word on each page.
Coloring Pages: Students will read the sight word to see which color to use. These coloring worksheets are a fun way to teach color words and sights words.
Sight Word Graphs: These can be used to review the sight words and to teach graphing. Students will count how many letters are in each sight word, and then color the graph. It is a perfect way to teach students how to read a graph. They can compare which word has the most, which one has the least, and which words are equal to each other.
Sight Words included:
Level 1-of, play, it, he, you, in, I, to, have, and, a, said, is, the, for, that
Level 2-are, as, but, go, had, here, his, like, my on, see, she, they, was, we, with
Level 3-all, at, be, by, from, her, him, look, one, or, some, there, this, up, word
Letters
Letter Book: These letter books are a great way for students to practice their letter recognition. Students will see the letter and can trace it with their finger. Then they can trace the word that starts with the letter, and there is a picture to match it. They also will practice writing the uppercase and lowercase letter.
Find the Letter: Students will find the uppercase or lowercase letter mixed in with other letters. Students can highlight, circle, or trace the correct letter.
Color the Pictures: Students will look for the pictures that start with each letter. Students will color the correct pictures.
Identify the letter, shape, and color: During this activity students will look at the card and say the letter, shape, and color. It is a great way to review what they have learned. They can play with a partner or in a small group.
Numbers 0-10
• Number Worksheets: Students will find the number word mixed in with sight words, color the number words, trace and write the number word, and trace the sentence.
• Memory Match Game: I print these cards on card stock and laminate them so I can use them over and over. Students will match the number word to the correct picture or the number word to the number.
• My Numbers Book: Color option for small groups to read together and a B&W copy for students to color and read. There is also a copy without the clip art so students can draw their own picture. There are three different books provided.
• Graph: Students will count how many times they see each number word and then graph their results. There are three different graphs.
Shapes
Shapes included: Square, Circle, Triangle, Rectangle, Oval, Star, Hexagon, and Diamond
Memory Match Game– Students will turn over the cards to match the shape with the shape name. Color and B&W shapes provided.
• Match Worksheets– Students will draw a line from the shape name to the picture of the shape.
• Find the shape– Students will look around the room to find the shapes. They will make tally marks for each shape they find, or they can write down where they see each shape.
• Shape Sentences: Students will practice tracing over a sentence about each shape, or write their own sentence.
• My Shape Book: There are two different versions of this book. The first version students will color in the shape. The second version students will trace the sentence and draw the shape.
• Finish the Patterns: Students can draw the next shape in the pattern, or they can cut and paste the next shape. The shapes are provided at the bottom of the worksheet for students to cut out.
• Color the shapes: Students will use the key to color the shapes.
Colors
Colors included: white, purple, blue, green, red, yellow, black, and orange
