Description

Are your students struggling to read primary sources and analyze historical documents with a critical eye? Use task cards to scaffold historical thinking and support students as they read like a historian! These digital task cards are Google Classroom compatible - perfect for distance learning & paperless classrooms!

Each task card prompt students to use a key historical thinking skill (sourcing, point of view, context, purpose, and intended audience) to interpret primary sources, make historical connections, and evaluate their impact. These primary source analysis task cards can be used with ANY primary source document to support inquiry based learning in both US History and World History courses. Simply choose the tasks you want students to complete, OR share the entire deck and allow students to choose!
