Description

This set of 6th grade math binder notes provides an organized set of notes and practice problems for prime factorization. Students are given vocabulary terms and definitions for prime numbers and prime factorization. Next there is a "guided example" that the teacher may use to lead students through the process of finding the prime factorization using a factor tree and a ladder diagram. This is followed by 12 practice problems that may be used as additional guided or independent practice.

These notes work great during guided instruction, small groups, reteaching, or review before an assessment.

The simplicity of this product is amazing. It's easy to follow, but still gives plenty of examples.
