Description
These three prime and composite number math centers and games are designed to reinforce prime and composite identification with numbers 1 through 100. A Venn diagramming activity has students sort numbers by properties such as prime and composite and even and odd. A recording sheet with open ended questions is included to push the students to think deeply about the relationship between the numbers’ properties. The second game is a maze that challenges students to move based on whether the number is prime or composite. In a third activity, students practice identifying factor pairs to "Capture the Circle".
Also included is a 100s chart to add to your students' interactive notebooks as a guide to prime and composite numbers and exit tickets to assess your students on their learning.
A teacher guide is included to help you set up your anchor stations as well as a full answer key!
