These worksheets were designed to provide repeated exposure to high frequency words in multiple formats for my students with cognitive disabilities. However, Sight Word of the Day could be utilized in any lower elementary classroom. Sight Word of the Day allows students to practice writing the word, building the word using different types of letter manipulatives, finding the word within a limited framework, and reading the sight word within sentence context.

These worksheets can be utilized as a class starter, as a part of sight word stations, or as independent practice. Please feel free to share other ways you have utilized this resource in your own classroom.
