Description

In these 20 task cards students will solve probability word problems using qualitative and quantitative predictions and comparisons from simple experiments. This challenging resource provides students with the opportunity to practice and strengthen their proportional reasoning skills. All word problems are multiple-choice.

Qualitative (broad subjective description)--> more likely, less likely, equally likely, certain, impossible

Quantitative (narrowed objective description)--> twice as likely, three times as likely, etc. (also includes predicting a quantity if the experiment is conducted a set number of times)

A recording sheet and answer key are also included!
