This product can elevate the Units of Study or any Novel units and raise the rigor in non-threatening ways. PBL is a fun and innovative way to get students thinking critically about topics that they care about and motivates them to make a real-life impact in their community.  Solving problems shouldn’t be relegated to math and science class, especially when every story has a problem.  It is from this lens that I have created this template to use with any novel.

PBL units provide opportunities for students to develop the ‘soft skills” that many employers are looking for.  Students not only solve problems, but they collaborate, communicate, and oftentimes innovate.
