Description

This video introduction lesson and the interactive sorting activities afterwards are the PERFECT way to introduce Problem & Solution as a reading skill to your class. You'll get a 5-minute animated video lesson full of helpful tips and tricks for identifying problem and solution in everyday life and also from a short story. These are great for both virtual learning and in-person, whether you have 1-on-1 devices, electronic centers, or use them for whole-class instruction.

After watching the video, students will complete a drag and drop Google Slides™ activity. They will match the solution to the problem, as well as type out answers in a few text boxes.

This product can absolutely stand alone as its own activity, but if you're wanting a full week unit, this product is meant to be DAY ONE of your Problem & Solution reading unit. I also have the rest of the week available too!

Or you can save by grabbing the whole week-long bundle here.

***IMPORTANT: A few teachers have had trouble with their students not being able to access the videos. This is because of individual districts' IT settings, not anything I have any control over. I have however included directions for a workaround in the product file. The problem is that some districts' IT settings require video (and audio) files to originate from INSIDE the district. I have included a tutorial for how to get around this! Just a few simple steps that I have outlined for you fully!***
