Description

This activity is based on a strategy in which students must collaborate to come up with common solutions to the most significant problems they encounter in a text (fiction or nonfiction). This requires students to discuss solutions to the problems found in the novel in a small group and then bring their solutions to the entire class and convince their classmates to join their sides. This is an extremely engaging strategy that students love.
