Description
Included are the Problem Solving Process Poster and Student Page. They are based on Saxon Math® Language. The poster sections are printed on a separate pages enabling you to use what you want. Print, cut, and glue onto a poster board or large sheet of paper. Then hang in your room. Added is a “Today I will teach:” page to post your daily objective, and “I will use:” page to post the strategy you will be using that day. There is a 4 step process and 10 math strategies to choose from. I copied the strategies 2 times; one for the poster and another for “I will use:” page.
Each student keeps a copy of the Problem Solving Process Student Page in their math binder. It is also a great resource to use during conferring. It also has the 4 step process, 10 math strategies, and an “I will use:” section for the student to post what strategy would work best for them.
Have students follow along on their personal student page as you teach with the room's poster.
