While engaging with "What if" questions, learners practice 3 essential skills for problem solving: predicting the outcomes of actions, reflecting on the outcomes, and considering alternative solutions.
Answering "Why?" and "Why not?" questions help build social reasoning and awareness.
Instead of focusing on the right vs. wrong choices, good problem solving requires focusing on making predictions and reflecting on how each choice might affect themselves and others.
