This packet includes eight real-world situations that involve equations, tables, organized lists, pictures, or visible thinking skills. I created the CUPS method to help students work through the problem. These questions can be used with eighth grade students at the start of the year to support students in problem solving all year long. Seventh grade students could solve these problems towards the end of the year.
