Description
Procedure bingo is a classroom activity that can help students learn and retain classroom procedures. Teachers can use bingo boards to encourage students and keep track of what procedures they've taught, the students have practiced and perfected. After a procedure is perfect the class can cover that procedure. Procedure bingo can be played at the beginning of the year or after winter break. Here's how to play procedure bingo:
- Give each student a bingo card
- The teacher calls out a word, phrase, question, or definition
- Students find the word or picture on their card and cover it
- The first student to cover five words in a row, either diagonally, vertically, or across, yells "Bingo" and wins
- If a student claims to have bingo and is incorrect, they are disqualified from that round
