Level up student’s rhyming skills with these producing rhyming words activities. This set includes 3 low-prep activities that will help students move from recognizing rhyme to producing rhyme. Each activity has instructions and all needed materials.
⭐The 3 activities included are:
- Pass the Rhyme: The teacher will show a card with a picture. Students pass the picture around the circle or the table and produce a word that rhymes with the picture.
- Rhyme Detectives: The teacher will show a page of pictures. The teacher will provide a word to start and students will search for the rhyming words.
- Rhyming Word List Ladders: Students are given a word family and will add letters to the front of the word to produce new rhyming words.
