I break the Power Point/Notes into Objective numbers, for example Objective #1 covers Transcontinental Railroad, Wounded Knee, Little Big Horn Objective #2 covers Immigration in US (Ellis and Angel Island). This keeps it manageable for the students and teacher; thus, students know what was learned on each day.

I have used this unit many, many times and have GREAT success with student’s retention of material.
