Students will plan what building to purchase, what items to have in their coffee shop, a logo, a menu, and so much more! Students are given a budget, and must stay within it to plan their coffee shop opening day.

The year 3 students in my composite class used this activity as a math investigation. We also incorporated Media Arts for advertising and Science -heat transference to build heating and cooling devices they could use to actually run their coffee shop - cookies and flavoured milk. The yr 2 students were the customers. I will be using (and expanding) this resources over and over in years to come
