Description

This mini problem based learning unit will help you students practice multi-digit subtraction and addition, multiplication, division, rounding, and decimals through real world economic scenarios. You student will open up a business and be faced with rewards and challenges real world business owners face throughout a year. At the end, your student's goal is to have a positive profit after the year is finished. Scenarios will be given to your students in a way similar to the Life game. To finish the PBL, your students can reflect about what parts of economics surprised them and what they learned during this activity.
