This NO PREP fun Project Based Learning Math Activity begins with a scenario of a group friends lost in a forest full of animals. The group will be using their mathematical knowledge to survive and plan a escape. A one of a kind math adventure which will allow your students to apply diverse concepts from their understanding of mathematics.
As the story moves on from getting lost in the forest to building fire and shelter to finding food and avoiding predators to escaping - this journey would be an exciting math activity like no other.

This 8 page PBL pack has 5 different survival problems that need to be solved as the story goes ahead. It also hints some of the mathematical concepts that could be used by the student however being an open ended PBL activity, students can choose any math concept they believe would help them.
