Any resource that reviews with students is a Godsend. Very useful resource.
My class had so much fun with this resource. They loved designing the menus and having the dining experience with other groups' restaurants.
My students loved this activity. I enjoyed watching them come up with names for their restaurants and menu items. We all had a blast!
I was able to use this resource to supplement an inter-disciplinary project that my team was completing. Awesome!
Loved this project! Very engaging and challenging! Able to adapt to meet my kids needs!
What a fabulous project! My students actually thanked me for providing them with such a fun project that was also a "good challenge" (their words). We had a blast, learned a lot about the restaurant industry, and challenged our practical math skills. I would love suggestions from others so how they rolled out the final presentation of the students being a guest and a server. I had them each present 2 at a time-- it was a bit slow and time consuming with all of the calculating and documentation required. Regardless, so pleased with this product!
Excellent resource, thanks!
Thank you!
I used this activity for my 6th and 7th graders at summer school and they absolutely loved it! They were able to be creative and use math skills without even realizing it.
That is awesome! I love when they can apply math and not complain while doing it :)
