Project Food Shop - Four Operation Math
A "design it yourself" food shop styled digital learning activity designed for students to practice their four operations. The perfect revision task to end a unit on the four operations. Students will complete word problem questions that include all of the operations based on the food options and prices they decide. As a challenge, pages are provided for students to create word problems, inclusive of specific operations, for a partner to solve.
Please note there is no answer key for this task as each students working will be based on the prices they set for their store.
What is included?
- A link to the digital file on GoogleSlides
- 9 pre-populated questions for students to apply their understanding of the four operations
- Space to write 5 questions for a partner to solve.
How do I use this?
- Open the link provided in the welcome PDF
- Make a copy of the presentation to your Google Drive
- Share the template with the students - they too will make a copy
- Allow them time to get creative and show their mathematical knowledge
