Pronouns - Task Cards for practicing Common Core grammar standards for pronouns, including types of pronouns and pronoun/antecedent agreement, in print and Easel versions. This set of 30 cards addresses these topics:
- Subject and Object Pronouns
- Possessive Pronouns
- Intensive and Reflexive Pronouns
- Relative Pronouns
- Pronouns and Antecedents
- Pronoun / Antecedent Agreement
The cards have a variety of activities including:
- Identify the Types of Pronouns
- Choose the Correct Pronoun
- Label as Correct or Incorrect
- Sort into Groups
- Write with Pronouns
- Replace Nouns with Pronouns
- Replace Pronouns with Nouns
These task cards are designed specifically for middle-grade kids. The cards are large, two cards per page, and have plenty of content – perfect for older kids who can handle more than one quick question per card. Task cards are great for differentiating with individual or group work, and for review activities, class games like Scoot or Footloose, or quick assessments.
Included with the task cards is a blank answer sheet for students' use, a list of suggestions for ways to use task cards, and a list of suggestions for easy differentiation with task cards.
The Easel Activity is ready to use with answer boxes and directions already in place for student use.
These task cards support Common Core Standards for Language by addressing specific pronoun situations outlined in the standards, including the use of relative pronouns, the uses if intensive and reflexive pronouns, pronoun / antecedent agreement, and correcting vague pronoun references.
