Description

This pack includes 4 versions of proofreading checklists. The first is a whole page checklist to use with the RACE short response strategy. The second and third are for the RAPP strategy, with the second being half a page with only the basics for those students who need the little extra reminder and the third version being a whole page checklist. The fourth checklist can be used for any piece of writing that is at least a paragraph and includes all the details you would typically want students to check for on a longer piece of writing.

You can print off a copy of the checklist for each time the student needs one and have them turn in the completed checklist with their writing as a way to hold them accountable for proofreading their work. You could also laminate one copy for each student and have students keep the checklists in their writing folder or keep a class set of laminated checklists in your classroom for students to grab as they need it.
