This set of 5th grade math guided binder notes provides students with an organized set of guided notes and independent practice problems on properties of real numbers, including:

• Commutative Property of Addition
• Associative Property of Addition
• Identity Property of Addition
• Commutative Property of Multiplication
• Associative Property of Multiplication
• Identity Property of Multiplication
• Distributive Property

Students will learn complete skeleton notes and an example for each property on the front side. The back side, students will practice completing an example and identifying which property is illustrated. They will also apply the propertites to find the sum of product of a set of numbers. This set of notes corresponds perfectly with THIS practice assignment, which has 18 more practice problems!

Works great during whole group guided instruction, in centers, as an intervention activity, reteaching, or a review assignment.
