Properties of Rocks - Interactive Notebook
Share

Description

This is an interactive notebook activity that I use with my students when learning about the properties of rocks. This is a very basic activity and is designed for students in k-3. To complete the activity, cut the outside edge of both pages, eliminating the extra paper. Glue page 2 to the notebook. Cut between the words "color, shape, size, texture" on the horizontal lines up to the vertical line. Then, glue the back side of "properties of rocks" onto the page 2, "properties of rocks" - then you have little flaps that students can open and read/fill out. Hope you enjoy!
