This was such a fun project and gave us a much needed break from the traditional assessments and testing. Students were so engaged and ended up making really beautiful posters that we hung up in the hallway / classroom. Was a great project to have displayed as the 5th graders came up for a visit - they were so excited to see that they would get to do fun projects like this next year!

This was a fun project! We did this as an activity after state testing/end of year/final review. We did the proportions project, but because they were already collecting data, I also had them use the data they collected and extended the project into probability where I paired them up and had them run a simulation between the two samples (what is the probability that some one likes Nikes and giraffes). So fun!
