Proportions Self-Checking Digital Activity

Are you ready to transform your math assignments into engaging and fun activities? Math is exciting again with this Proportions self-checking Little Lucky Lottery! This digital math activity is perfect for engaging your students in their learning and practicing solving proportions.

In the self-checking activity, Little Lucky Lottery, students answer questions in order to scratch off their digital lottery ticket.  As students correctly answer questions, more of the scratch-off card is revealed.  After correctly answering all the questions, students check over their card to see if it is a winner. The students continue to answer questions until they have scratched off the entire card.  Who will have the lucky lottery card(s)?

The students answer the questions in any order they prefer.  After solving the question on a whiteboard, scratch paper, or the provided workspace, students type their final answer into the appropriate cell.  If correct, the students receive immediate feedback by revealing part of the lottery ticket and the appearance of a lucky horseshoe next to their answer.

In contrast, when students answer incorrectly, their answer turns red to let them know they should go back and revise their answer or seek help from their instructor.
