There are TONS of options for using digital notebooks in the science classroom. Consider using the entire DINB as a digital workbook. This could be used as a review or study guide before a unit test. Individual slides make great "warm-ups" or a "ticket out the door." Add slides, delete slides, make it yours! This resource could be used to help you FLIP YOUR CLASSROOM - have students work on the DINB at home; then, play review games and conduct labs while in class!
This product was created for sixth-grade students in South Carolina using the SC 2014 Science Standards. You may find activities within the DINB useful for upper elementary, middle school, or high school level students (9th/10th grade), depending on the ability and needs of your students.

Personally, I love using DINBs like a workbook. We do direct instruction, games, or labs in class. Then, students work on their DINBs for homework or at the end of class! I assign the DINB like workbook pages and tell students which slides to complete each day. This format - in my opinion - works well for in-person learning AND distance learning! Each week, I provide my students with their DINB to work on as needed. I post daily directions for my students to know which slides to work on for the day. You also could paste these slides into your preferred DINB format! The DINB slides are on an 8.5 x 11 in slide size.

Slide Three - Protist Informational Text
Slide Four - Essential Vocabulary
