Description

This is a set of 32 task cards designed for beginning protractor practice. All of the angles fall on multiples of ten, although they do face to the right and to the left. These cards were designed for students just learning to read the protractor. They would be best for students who need to learn how to select the proper scale based on whether the angle is right or left facing, and acute or obtuse (or right).

The file is a 10-page PDF that includes 8 pages of task cards (4 per page), a student recording sheet, and an answer key. I included 4 "bonus" angles as the last 4 that are not lined up correctly, but can still be read by reasoning where the rays fall (my kids loved these!).

I do have a second set of protractor cards available that are more advanced and are designed to help kids with problems reading when the angle measures a multiple of 5 rather than 10.
