Description

This geometry homework assignment provides students with practice applying and justifying the converse of theorems and postulates of parallel lines, including alternate interior angles, alternate exterior angles, corresponding angles, and same-side interior angles. Prior knowledge including vertical angles, linear pairs, and supplementary angles also appears. Questions include "select all that apply", "drop-down", and "short response" style where they will identify which lines may be proven parallel and use algebra to find missing angle measures to create parallel lines.

This assignment includes a print + go PDF worksheet along with a corresponding auto-grading Google Form. I use these assignments as class work or homework. I usually print the PDF for students to use before they complete the form. They can then use this form to make corrections on questions they missed and turn in for partial credit back.

Great review of parallel line angle relationships. Good variety of questions as well as levels of questions. Was used as a quarterly assessment to practice the relationships, and kids liked that it wasn't paper pencil!

Students completed this after we finished the lesson. I gave them the pdf before allowing them to enter their answers in the Google Form. The Google Form made it super easy to check on progress. Great resource!
